Paul Gaitan, MD
Dr. Gaitan explains that he enjoys building trust with patients, and this specialty gives him the opportunity to get to know every patient and help treat their pain, thus improving their quality of life.
When asked about his biggest impact on a patient, Dr. Gaitan says, “I strive to listen, relate, establish trust, and make each patient feel at ease with their care.”
Dr. Gaitan has spent the last 15 years treating thousands of patients in the Valley. He spent 10 years as the chief diagnostic physician at Laser Spine Institute in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he managed the perioperative care of patients who required surgery for spine-related pain. Additionally, he has directed the care of patients suffering from chronic spine and joint pain at several large pain and spine groups in Phoenix and the surrounding areas.
Dr. Gaitan is known as a warm and endearing person. He has been happily married to the love of his life, Lisa, for over 30 years. Together, they have two daughters and a son. Dr. Gaitan has volunteered for medical missionary trips and continues to be actively involved in the Phoenix community.Education: After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor of Science degree, he attended and graduated from University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2000.
